My Mexican Passport
If you are like me, a Mexican Citizen by birth and you do not have your Mexican passport,
this page will show you the documents you need to get it.
1. Proof of Mexican nationality by presenting the ORIGINAL of any of the following documents:
Birth Certificate
Make sure your name matches with your other
documents.

Other Documents that you can use are as following:
(note: I only used the documents in blue)
– Birth Certificate
– Mexican Certificate of Naturalization
– Certificate of Mexican nationality
– Declaration of Mexican nationality by birth
– High security consular registration, that is, issued after 2005
2. Prove your identity
Presenting the ORIGINAL of ANY of the following official documents with a photograph,
the data of which must accurately match those of the document with which you are
proving your nationality.
(Note: I only used the documents in blue)
– Valid photo identification card issued by the Mexican government.
– Valid Voting ID
– Valid Military ID
– Certificate of Mexican Nationality
– Certificate of Naturalization
– Valid Driver License or Identification (ID)
– Valid Mexican Driver Licence
– Valid Green Card

United States of America
Valid driver’s license or identification card
and/or
Letter of naturalization

Marriage Certificate
(if married)

In conclusion, the following documents I presented to obtain my Passport

Upon presenting these documents to the consulate, they will input the
data and you must verify that information is correct.
